Delivering for remote families

Murin delivers essential services and infrastructure support to remote Homelands across the Thamarrurr and Daly region under funding agreements with the Northern Territory Government and other partners.


Our focus is on practical, place-based service delivery that ensures families have access to the essential services needed to live safely and sustainably on country. All services are delivered in partnership with Traditional Owners and local residents.

We currently provide contracted services to the following Homelands:

Municipal and Essential Services (MES)

Power, water, waste, sewerage, and general environmental health)

Safety checks, minor repairs, and maintenance to improve housing condition and function

Emergency Works

Fast response to urgent infrastructure needs including outages, storm damage, or blocked systems

Civil and capital works including water systems, housing pads, road upgrades, and airstrip access

Community Engagement

Regular consultation and reporting with Homeland residents and Traditional Owners to guide service planning and priorities

Murin advocates for greater investment in Homelands and works closely with government and local stakeholders to support long-term sustainability and improved living conditions.
