Murin offers year-round regular bus services from Darwin to the Daly Region.

The Murin Bus Service provides a safe, reliable, and affordable transport option for residents of the Thamarrurr region. Operating twice weekly during the Dry Season, the service connects Wadeye with Darwin, with designated stops at key communities and Homelands turnoffs along the route. 

Designed to meet the needs of local people, the service supports access to medical appointments, family visits, schooling, cultural events, and other essential travel. Murin’s drivers are experienced and community-minded, ensuring passengers feel welcomed and supported throughout the journey.

The service also provides limited capacity for parcel and mail delivery, helping to keep families and services connected across the region.

Murin is committed to community-based service delivery. Our transport operations are Aboriginal-owned, community-focused, and reinvest into the local economy through employment and training opportunities.

Pickup Locations in Darwin :  Pick up Location in Darwin –  Departure from Murin Terminal

Drop-off/Pick-up in Wadeye :  Murin Terminal (Wadeye Airport) and Main Street Store

Fares :  $150 one way from Darwin to Wadeye. Shorter distances are priced proportionally.

Bookings :  Required in advance via phone or at Murin offices in Darwin and Wadeye

Freight :  Small parcels accepted (subject to available space and conditions)
